Association Documents
When a new subdivision, such as Covington Woods, is built in New York State, the Department of Law requires that a builder develop and file certain legal documents in the County Clerk’s Office for the protection of the homeowner.

- Declaration of Covenants, Easements, and Restrictions - This master document contains the rights and restrictions governing both the common areas and individual lots
- By-Laws of the Homeowners Association - This document sets forth the policies and
- procedures for the operation of the Homeowner’s Association, including the formation and duties of the Board of Directors.
- In order for the Board to effectively discharge its duties related to the appearance of the community, and to promulgate acceptable standards, the Architectural Standards and Guidelines were written in accordance with provisions of the Covenants and By-Laws.
